The Autry Museum of the American West

Category: Logo Type / ID System
The story of the American West is a complicated, rugged, energetic, sensitive and misunderstood one. In the most neutral essence the American West is a convergence of paths, which led to the idea of using the Navajo weaving loom, which led to the design of the logotype. Expanding off the inspiration of the weaving loom, images have notches to be able to “stitch” together in sequence. Much like the different stories of the American west that are stitched together.
